The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the notification for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2026 (SSC CHSL 2026) on 7th September 2026. This recruitment drive will fill Group C posts of Lower Divisional Clerk / Junior Secretariat Assistant (LDC/JSA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO) / DEO Grade ‘A’ across various Ministries, Departments, and Constitutional/Statutory Bodies of the Government of India. Candidates must be between 18 and 27 years, i.e. born not before 02-08-1999 and not later than 01-08-2008.

🎓 Educational Qualification (as on 07-10-2026)
For DEO / DEO Grade ‘A’
Applicable in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, SSC, and Ministry of Culture: 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics
For LDC/JSA & other DEOs
Passed 12th Standard (or equivalent) from a recognized Board/University, any stream
Candidates who have appeared for their 12th standard exam can also apply, but must possess the qualification on or before the cut-off date 07-10-2026. Mere processing of results by the cut-off date is not sufficient — the result must be officially declared.
🌏 Nationality
Applicant must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with intent to settle permanently in India (eligibility certificate required for categories other than Indian citizens).

Complete One-Time Registration (OTR)
If you don’t already have an OTR on the new website, create one. Old OTR from ssc.nic.in will NOT work on the new site. Once created, your OTR is valid for all future SSC exams on ssc.gov.in.
Opt for Aadhaar-Based Authentication
Recommended — avoids rejection risk over photo/signature standards and skips carrying physical ID proof to the exam.
Fill the Application Form
Capture your live photograph through the app/portal (pre-existing photos not accepted), enter education, category & center preference details carefully.
Upload Signature
Scanned signature in JPEG format, 10–20 KB, dimension ~6.0 cm × 2.0 cm.
Preview & Pay Fee
Check all details in Preview mode, then pay ₹100 (if applicable) via UPI/Net Banking/Card before 08-10-2026.
Submit & Save Printout
Submit before 07-10-2026, 11:00 PM and keep a printout/PDF of your application for at least 3 years.
