Additional Age Relaxation

  • Ex-servicemen / ex-GREF / disembodied Territorial Army personnel: Can exclude their period of service plus unemployment period on discharge (up to 5 years), provided they have not completed age 50.
  • Blindness & Low Vision, Deaf & Hard of Hearing: Up to 15 years relaxation (upper limit capped at 50 years).
  • Other benchmark disability categories: Up to 10 years relaxation (upper limit capped at 50 years).
  • Widows: Up to 5 years relaxation (upper limit capped at 50 years).

🎓 Educational Qualification

Should have passed S.S.L.C or equivalent AND should NOT have acquired graduation.

Important points regarding qualification:

  • Qualification must be acquired on or before the closing date of the online application.
  • Candidates claiming an equivalent qualification must produce the relevant Government Order proving equivalence when called for.
  • Qualifications declared equivalent by the Government after the notification date will not be accepted for this selection.
  • Candidates shortlisted for interview must submit an affidavit confirming they had not acquired graduation as on the closing date of the application. The affidavit format is available under the “Downloads” section of the recruitment portal.

✍️ Scribe & Compensatory Time for Differently Abled Candidates

  • Candidates whose writing speed is affected may avail scribe facility — this must be opted for at the time of online application; no request will be entertained later.
  • Scribe use is governed by High Court guidelines; candidates must produce a medical certificate and declaration in the prescribed format at the time of the test. The scribe’s qualification must be one step below the minimum qualification prescribed for the post.
  • Differently abled candidates (whether or not availing a scribe) get 25 minutes compensatory time on producing the prescribed medical certificate confirming a physical limitation to write.

  6. Complete payment of application fee (online or offline) — this is the final and mandatory step; an application without fee payment is incomplete.
