Facilities for Differently Abled Candidates
- 1Differently abled candidates whose writing speed is affected may avail the services of a Scribe. Intention to use scribe must be indicated in the online application form and confirmed in the candidate’s profile after exam date announcement.
- 2The scribe must hold a qualification at least one step below the minimum qualification prescribed (i.e., at least 10th pass). A medical certificate and declaration in the prescribed format must be produced at the time of examination.
- 3All differently abled candidates (whether availing scribe or not) will be allowed 20 minutes compensatory time per hour of examination on production of Medical Certificate confirming physical limitation to write.

How to Apply – Kerala High Court Assistant 2026
- 1Complete One Time Registration on the official recruitment portal at www.hckrecruitment.keralacourts.in using the ‘One Time Registration Login’ link.
- 2Fill in ‘My Profile’ with accurate details, upload scanned photograph and signature, and enter qualification details.
- 3Click ‘Apply Now’ from the Dashboard and select the appropriate Recruitment Number. Fill in all required details carefully as per the instructions on screen.
- 4Review the application carefully in the preview before submitting. No changes/edits can be made after submission.
- 5Pay the application fee online (Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking) or offline via downloadable challan. Incomplete applications without fee payment will not be considered.
- 6Take a printout of the submitted application for future reference. No need to send it to the High Court.
- 7Admit Card will be available for download 3 weeks before the exam. Interview Call Letter 2 weeks before the interview. Login to portal to download.
Important Instructions & Terms
- •Candidates in government service must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Head of Office and produce it when called for.
- •Caste/Community/NCL/EWS certificate must be valid on the last date of closure of online application or on the date of certificate verification.

- •Canvassing in any form will result in immediate cancellation of candidature.

About High Court of Kerala Assistant Recruitment 2026
The High Court of Kerala is expected to release the official notification for recruitment to the post of Assistant in 2026 through Direct Recruitment. This is a prestigious government job in Kerala’s judicial branch, offering a pay scale of ₹39,300–₹83,000 per month under the 7th Pay Commission.
The Kerala High Court Assistant 2026 exam is a combined written test comprising an Objective Test (100 marks, 75 minutes), a Descriptive Test (60 marks, 60 minutes) immediately following it, and an Interview (10 marks). The test is conducted in the English medium across all district centres in Kerala.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks, or a Master’s degree, or a Law degree from any Kerala-recognised university. SC/ST candidates are exempt from the 50% minimum marks requirement. The minimum age is 18 years and the upper age limit for general candidates is approximately 36 years as on the application closing date.
This recruitment is governed by the Kerala High Court Service Rules, 2007 and the Right of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. Reservation norms follow Rules 14–17 of Part II of the Kerala State and Subordinate Services Rules, 1958.
