Educational Qualification

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks OR Master’s Degree OR Law Degree — awarded or recognised by any University in Kerala.

No rounding off: 49.5% cannot be rounded to 50%. Must have minimum 50% exactly.
SC/ST Exemption: Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes / Tribes are exempted from the 50% minimum marks requirement in Bachelor’s Degree.
CGPA / Grade System: Candidates with CGPA/OGPA or letter grades must indicate equivalent percentage as per university norms and obtain a conversion certificate from their university for submission at certificate verification.

Facilities for Differently Abled Candidates

    Differently abled candidates whose writing speed is affected may avail the services of a Scribe. Intention to use scribe must be indicated in the online application form and confirmed in the candidate’s profile after exam date announcement.

    The scribe must hold a qualification at least one step below the minimum qualification prescribed (i.e., at least 10th pass). A medical certificate and declaration in the prescribed format must be produced at the time of examination.

The High Court of Kerala is expected to release the official notification for recruitment to the post of Assistant in 2026 through Direct Recruitment. This is a prestigious government job in Kerala’s judicial branch, offering a pay scale of ₹39,300–₹83,000 per month under the 7th Pay Commission.
